A Different World?!

 In my world, there are so many unspoken rules – one should never be seen clad in a tux/dress with a non hottie! You only feud with the right people because you don't want your name splashed on a $3 rag.

“Can we use the back entrance? I want to skip the hungry flashes of photogs lining up.”
I called my friends while inside the LTC.

It was a typical saturday night as the whole crew graced a festive bash at some posh residence turned into a jungle. Hotties and revelers were mingling right next to the host and some not so famous folks were dying to have a glimpse of the superbly dressed Titans.  “Sweetie, it's time to leave town when a photog asks for your name. Don't even smile at those people” Patricia told Alexis after skipping the gawking crowd.

“Who's the newbie?” Dennis asks while handing out shots. “Oh, she's my new doll.” Patricia coos as she introduces her to the entire crew. “Den, she's 20 years old. Find yourself another blood to woo…” I told him after downing my first shot.

“Alexis, you want to be part of our world and crew? People are gonna talk.” Patricia says while she cozies up on the lap of her new beau.

“What's wrong Alvs? You don't seem to be enjoying the festivities.” Paolo inquires after handing me yet another shot. “She told me that she came to the conclusion that she didn't want to deal with. The realization that we were worlds apart. I guess it's over?!” I declared as everyone gasped and stared at me….

I didn't say anything else. After downing my last shot, I left the party, hopped into my LTC and asked the driver to take me home…

My world and everything in it is part of who I am. I'm willing to compromise but at the end of the day can love transcend all barriers!?
