Wonderful Life?!

“Hey Alvs, I'm at the mall shopping with Chloe.” An SMS I received from Ayanna while laying out with some friends at the club. I showed the message to Derick, he gave me a high five and said, “I think it's about time she finds out who you really are. Let's go shop with her.” The whole group erupted in cheers.

I wonder why people say that we are only good at few things? Laying out at the club or at the beach, watching/playing football and tennis, Hollywood gossip, partying, and shopping. Is it bad? Oh well… Hey, it's our lives!

I immediately greet my love, shows my adorable grin and everyone swoons.
In my book, there is nothing more attractive than seeing a gorgeous woman ready to dive into pile of designer clothes and ain't leaving till she's fully ornamented. Ayanna and her bff were picture perfect while drowning their sorrows, by that I mean burning their credit cards, leaving all men to dream about a ménage à trois…
“She's impecable. Sometimes, I wonder how you get your paws on these gorgeous women!?” Derrick says while handing me a pair of jeans. “I agree. You should make the commitment Alvs. Remember my golden rule - a woman who knows how to fill her healthy-looking wings with designer stuff is ideal!” Christy said after giving me shirts to try.

Later that day, Ayanna and I had a long conversation about our relationship. We have decided to make the commitment to avoid any and all sorts of drama. Life indeed is short  and it would be such a waste not to have fun and find joy in it. Exactly what we did….

We heat up the carpet wearing our best and graced the cover of a private bash in South F. We primped and posed for photgs like pros then entered the party with style. “Look around you. Now that you guys are here, there's no room for anyone else to shine.” Andrew said after posing with us. We had a blast!  We grooved to every song like it was an act of faith, as if the movement of our bodies were a solemn prayer, as if the fates of our immortal souls depended on it. And at the end of the night we still had each other.

I stroked her hair, kissed her good night and thank God for a wonderful life…
