Women and Dogs!
May 25, 2007“We've seen each other spasmodically over the years, and we share many friends. I've always liked you, but I've also always been a bit afraid of you, owing to your wicked wit, your superior knowledge, your literary celebrity, and your innate snobbery, which can be terrifying to the sensitive soul.” An SMS I received from a girl I occasionally date.
What's wrong with the world? I was just asking her for dinner and she sent me a weird SMS. Anyhow, she told me that it was time… “What do you want Alvs? I'm not getting any younger. What do you want from me?” Vanessa told me as I grab the remote and tune in to ESPN… Tudulus! “I thought you were ok with our setup? I'm not stopping you from dating other people.” I told her while my pom Colby starts asking for more food. Darn, women and dogs really spice up my life!
Moving forward!
“Pierre can't make it. You're practically my second husband, the godfather, and my best friend so you're coming with me!” Marie told me as I watch my dog devour his food.
“Do you have a doctor's appointment today?” I asked her while giving Colby his vitamins. “No, this is more important. I'm a month away from motherhood so I need to do my last minute retail therapy.
“I can't believe those guys are checking me out. I'm about to give birth already.” Marie says as she handed her bag to me. “You can't blame them coz' you're practically not wearing anything.” I told her with a grin. “Sweetie, what did I tell you when I found out about my pregnancy? I'm going to be the most fashionable pregnant woman in the world!” Marie told me as we enter the Podium.
Oh well, that's true because she was chosen as one of Preview's best dressed women of 2007. The issue will come out in June or July. She's doing a fashion diary and she needs me to take her photos while shopping for baby clothes.
“Darn, this baby stuff is overwhelming. You think people might mistake me as the father?” I asked her after taking her first shot. “Alvs, you look 16 and love football so I don't think so.” Marie told me while posing like a pro!
OUCH!!!!!!!!!
“You mean I'm not the marrying type?” I asked her while checking her photos.
“You are but you don't age. You still look like you party til' dawn type of early 20 something guy.
“Anyhow, enough of these baby stuff and thanks for the photos. It's time to take care of ourselves. I need to look fabulous towards my last few weeks of pregnancy.” Marie told me as we enter a store.
“Look, this bag looks like what you have now.” I told her while checking a gorgeous lady across the room. “Alvs, how could you? My bag is Chloe and costs 50 times more. I'm having contractions with what you just said.” Marie annoyingly told me.
“Oops, sorry. How would I know. All bags look the same anyway.“ Hehehe
“Vanessa thinks I'm a player.” I told her after my first purchase.
“Alvs you've always been fascinated with complicated women. There's a beautiful word in French, it's tordue. It means a woman who has to fight for everything. Admit it or not, you have the most beautiful collection of tordues. And despite your brooding demeanor, you possess the wiles of a conjurer. You're quixotic, generous, and endearingly impulsive!” Marie said as I checked myself in front of the mirror. “Marie, I see a guy who is ready for everything – the grand feeling and the works!” I told her after finally deciding to get the shirt that fits me so well.
As I enter my place, after hugging Colby, I realized that Marie was totally right about my life. I've had the privilege of dating the best women (after my break up) but somehow I manage to complicate circumstances. I really don't know what I want!
All I know is I have good friends, great laughs, deep affection, and lots of shared memories. I think that's all that matters… for now!?

I want to see your friend’s maternity wardrobe. I plan to be the best dressed pregnant woman I know, though I doubt I’d match your friend. I’m not pregnant though. I’m just saying. LOL!
Hrmm.. Change will inevitably come. You’ll know when it’s supposed to. “good friends, great laughs, deep affection, and lots of shared memories.” Eventually, I think most people would reach a point in their lives wherein they’d want just a teensy bit more.

How about going to a beach alone and think on what you really want to do with your life and if you really want to settle down soon? someone told me that a person fro his early 20’s are struggling on what they really want in life. if you’ve reached 25 and still you don’t have any clue on what you really want to do, well.. there’s something wrong there.

Posted by onyxx at May 26, 2007, 11:26 amok, we have a couple of things in common. number 1 is “youth”. one hot chick said i look like 16. not so good because i can’t hit on matured babes (and when i say “matured,” you know what that means … perhaps not). anyway, another thing is that we both want commitment coz our friends are already there. however, when it comes to “tordues,” i’m not quite sure if i have a collection of that. teach me mhaaan. for the love of all that’s good on earth, teach me. hehehe.
