Am I ready?

Anyway, I think most of my friends will be in Boracay during the Valentines week but I'm thinking of going to Kota Kinabalu instead. Boracay during summer is not a good idea for me. I can't stand seing the same people… Not my friends. I'm talking about acquaintances I see in different bars and clubs. Same old same old! Where's the fun in that? Kota is Paradise! Paradise! Paradise! It was fun a few years ago so I'm sure it'll be “funner” this time coz' I'm going with Meds.

I'm still single. I've been going out lately but nothing special “you should know about” so I haven't called you yet…
I was told not to plan anything for my brithday coz' my friends are giving me a surprise party. Think “Jawbreaker” type of surprise – they tie me up, put me at the trunk of the car and put a gigantic candy in my mouth so I won't be able to scream… morbid! The idea scares me a lot… I love my friends but they're weird. Here I am waiting for it to happen anytime soon. My idea of a surprise is tied up in a… forget it… my future grand kids won't like it… hehehe
I just realized how fast time flies. I'll be 25 again soon and still single. Not a good sign. There's nothing wrong wih me. In fact, I'm perfect. Maybe that's why? People are scared of finding the perfect guy coz' they know it won't be easy. People screaming my name anywhere I go. “Alvin here, Alvin here”… paparazzis following me all the time. I understand. But remember, I'm a person more than anything else. I can feel the wind blowing, water splashing, and I hate acid wash jeans!
Anyway, I just don't want to compromise anything at all. A lot of people think I'll be happier with someone. Hmmm… maybe. However, it'll complicate my life for sure. Imagine someone telling me “you would rather go to the gym than have dinner with me?” Scary! Of course, I'd choose the gym! KAPUT!

"25 again"? So how many 25th birthdays have you had? :p
Ready or not, sadly for some, happily for others, Valentines comes every February. My belief is that, during this time, whether I'm in a relationship or not, I can still enjoy this event. Single? Then I go out with my friends and bond with other singles. Attached? Then I would celebrate with my love, but I won't forget to greet my friends, single or otherwise.
Anyway, good luck to us this February. 
Well we have the same problem. I can empathize with the difficulty that comes with being super famous.
I'm glad I have a friend like you who I could relate to. My peasant/commoner friends simply won't understand.
